The care you receive at laser vision eye centre is second to none. From the initial consultation my experience was fantastic, I had lasik on both eyes and the day of the procedure went so smoothly and the aftercare was fantastic. Visited in JAN25 as I had laser eye surgery 18 years ago and was investigating a further top up since my eyesight had started to deteriorate. After initial tests, I met with Aris who explained all of my options and we decided on a particular course of treatment to treat one eye to cater for both my long and near distance vision. I visited Anderson eye care at the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Chandler's Ford for my free consultation to assess my suitablity for lense replacement or laser surgery to perfect my eyesight. l am in my early 60's and fed-up taking my glasses on and off throughout the day depending on what i need them for. Having met David Anderson the Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon I quickly realized he was the only man for the job. His pleasant manner, calm demeanour, confidence in what he does, knowledge and expertise were faultless and made the decision very easy for me. I really liked that not only does he perform the surgery but see's you for all consultations and follow-up after care appointments. David suggested I have Bilateral Lasik PRESBYOND laser blended vision correction. He explained this to me very well and in a nutshell would mean I would see clearly for reading and also for distance too once my brain had adjusted to this. His website is also well worth reading for detailed information for what to expect for all options. So I was a little apprehensive day of surgery but needn't have been. David and his team were amazing and informative thoughout. Nothing was painful and I was back in my room within 40mins. So I am 2 months in with my new vision and the results are beyond my expectations. It really does feel like a miracle and worth every single penny. I cannot recommend laser eye vision enough.. from the very first call to them to the excellent service provided.. I was originally nervous at the prospect of surgery but after my first consultation I was put at ease.. the procedure was over very quickly and with some detailed after care instruction I went home to rest. My laser surgery experience Meeting Mr Anderson is always a pleasure, despite the fact you are meeting him for surgery. He always puts you at ease and offers full explanation of procedures as required. In my case, the laser surgery was easy and undertaken with total ease and comfort.

My initial thoughts have been that I've always wanted to be spectacle free for as long as I can remember. I've looked into having eyes surgery a few times but have been put off by people saying it doesn't work or I bet that hurts. I've worn glasses since I was a teenager so years and years. I had laser eye surgery 4 weeks ago and Wow I'm amazed that after having it I don't know why I was worried, the next day I could see more than I could ever without my specs.
The process from assessments to communication with the whole team was amazing, the people from admin and the nurses on day of op, to the dr doing the surgery and my follow up appointments have been outstanding and would 1000% recommend having this done. Looking forward to my holiday and actually be able to wear normal sunglasses and not prescription ones is exciting. Absolutely brilliant in every way, professional, expert, great staff customer communication and most of all I had successful laser eye vision correction where other eye specialists who promote themselves as the biggest and best gave incorrect information , telling me I could only have lenses fitted due to my age, David Anderson proved them all wrong and gave me my vision back after 30 years with straight forward two session lasering, life changing and worth every penny !!!

Laser (SMILE) surgery I recently had my eyes lasered (SMILE), and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the process was incredibly professional— the admin staff were really helpful and accommodating. Mr Anderson is so knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel at ease the whole way through the process and answered any questions I had. The procedure itself was quick, and the minimal discomfort I experienced following the procedure had gone when I woke up the next morning and my vision was already much better. The team had explained clearly with written instructions how and when to apply the drops they had given me. It’s amazing being able to wake up each morning and see perfectly and is still a bit surreal. I’d highly recommend it to anyone considering it!
